What do you do with extra tomato paste?
I have a recipe that only calls for a tablespoon....Can i put the rest in a ziploc and freeze it? I feel bad throwing the rest of the can out.

I know they make tomato paste in a tube (sort of like a tube of toothpaste). I am just not sure who carries it.

I measure out the rest in teaspoon sized portions and freeze them.

I freeze it in a ziploc and the next time we make sauce I just throw it in!
