class gift?
just wondering as the class mom... do you usually get a "class" gift for christms too? or just at the end of the year? i always get my own gifts for the teachers so i dont remember...

It depends on the group..some classes are more cohesive and do a class gift for both, while some classes don't communicate as much and you get gifts from students individually..hth and thank you for recognizing your child's teacher! :)

I have always gotten a Christmas gift and an end of the year gift from the class (always gift cards)

I am a dance teacher so it depends on each class. Some parents want to just get a gift from their child and some parents get together and chip in a couple of dollars and give the teacher a gift card. It depends on the parents and children.

yes...I did.
it's nice of you to think of your child's teacher. we appreciate it!
Also, as a special ed. teacher, soemtimes, I'm forgotten and only the general ed. teacher receives a gift. it doesn't bother me too much, but it is nice to be remembered particulalry if the other teacher is getting something. i would check to see if there is a special ed. teacher attached to that class and get something for BOTH teachers.
