I am always confused...can anyone help..

I got a positive on the opk last saturday and sunday (not this past weekend, the one before)...do I count the days since sunday as days past ovulation or count from saturday since we bd'ed both days? I am confused!

Also..if I count from saturday, this is 9dpo...still too early to test????

First of all, unless you are temping, you can not assume you ovulated by positive opks. However, if the opk was positive last sunday, you could have ovulated 12-36 hours later. Therefore, you may not have ovulated, until, mon/tuesday. However, if you believe you ovulated sunday...then....today is 8 dpo and definitely too early to test. Implantation takes about 6-10 days from fertilization....and then 3-5 days past implantation for hcg to show in the urine. It has to pass through the kidneys. Some people implant at 6 dpo, and get a positive hpt at 8dpo but it's extremely rare.
