i already voted for the 700+, but after taxes its lower than that (i claim 0 so that i can get a nice refund at tax time- eventhough its not as nice as id like it to be).

it also depends on hours though- since you work off the books, you have more take home than if you made a couple of dollars more an hour on the books- but you work PT, right?

i work 32 hours at the shop off the books, and when i start at the bar i will be working only 13 hours at the shop and 23 hours at the bar.... both off teh books.

I am in the $700 + category but I am a Long Island teacher who is paying off ALOT of bills and student loans. So although it seems like a lot, becaus eI am livingon my own, paying rent, car bills and loans, I am living check to check...

well-- I def make a good salary but I work 50+ hour weeks and am exhausted usually, can't really make week night plans cause who knows what disaster may happen at work.. so, I would take less and work less if I could-- but, I am still young enough where I can work those hours-- but I am not doing it forever... I am looking forward to not working in Manhattan when we move to the burbs.. Working outside the city I hear is more mellow..
All in all- if I could be a lady who lunched-- I'd be all over it! With some side job for intellectual stimulation of course..

Jess, that's prety much full time. I technically am paid for $35 hours a week, but I usually work more than that.
I'm not sure how much I make per week minus taxes only. I have a lot put in my 401K , flexible spending & metrocard accounts, so my take home is about $400, something, but really I am making more than that, it is just getting taken out before taxes to be used in different ways. Oh & there are healthcare deductions too.

marketing for a bank, also max out 401k some co workers make six figures for the same stuff i do.

Mine is different every week cause I work overtime. Without OT take home is almost $600. With it I have been taking home close to $900 a week.

I am over 700+ a week take home pay, I am an office manager for a co. that I have been with for 12 years, I do the job of 2 people, I am the only office worker in there, besides the owner, so is it really good pay? I am not so sure. Long hours and no lunch, eat at the desk !!

my fh does this...but unfortunately he doesnt make that much either

I'm a professor. Good money and I only work 16 hours a week 32 weeks a year and that is considered full time.

I'm in HR. I'm not all that much higher than that $700. And, keep in mind that the majority of us making "that kind" of money have HUGE student loans to pay off as well as liability insurance policies that are VERY costly

I make well over 700+ a week working in management/administration. I also have close to 10 years experience in my field. I max out my 401K as well and pay towards my health care benefits as well so i probably bring home a lot less though.

Marketing Coordinator. I voted before taxes though.
After taxes is a much different story. I also have a lot of stuff taken out pre-tax dollars so my take home pay ends up less than $700 a week.
