Salary Related Question
Is there a website to see if you are making the average salary for your degree/experience? I am always so curious about this, and want to know what I am "really worth"!!!

The department of labor statistics has this. I have found it to be less than accurate for LI.

You can look at salary.com but it really won't be accurate for what you are looking for.
I work in Compensation so this kind of thing is what I do all day.  We use published salary surveys (we participate and pay $$$) and we factor in geographical location, industry, experience (external) and demand for the job. All or some of these things make up the salaries that we offer to our employees.
And at least once a week I get someone with a paper from salary.com but once I do my research we never come up with the same numbers.

I have found that "most" salary estimators are not accurate for NYC or LI. Very underestimated for some professions!
