I have lost all respect for this guy.....what the heck was he thinking????? I can't even begin to imagine what these girls are going through or went through....I think watching this show this season was a complete waste of time. And to think this guy was so sincere and was really falling for these girls, went out and bought that beautiful ring.....I am so beyond confused!! Alls I can say, is what a jerk. There is a difference between being confused and just being plain old dumb....he was the latter in my opinon!!

JUST THE NIGHT BEFORE he was saying how great they both were, how HARD the decision was to choose one, etc. Telling them how great they made him feel, etc. Why not just say I don't feel ready to propose but let's get to know each other more?????
And what was with that crazed look in his bright blue eyes? I feel this is a man we have NOT seen all season. I found it very very odd to say the least the way his demeanor changed. He wants to know what they are thinking but then doesn't want EITHER one????????
I don't buy that crock about "respecting marriage, etc". Obviously don't go on a tv show to find a wife then. Maybe he was looking for stardom all along. Well he had me fooled. I thought he was the most genuine bachelor all along. Apparently not.

Yeah, I agree with the above poster...it was almost as if his demeanor changed...like he was acting. Seems like he became almost defensive with Deanna...I don't know..he seemed very odd...not like the sincere and genuine Bachelor I have seen all season long. It was like this was staged or some thing....definitely not what I was expecting and I still think this guy is a jerk. Think back to last weeks encounter with all of the girls and how he states he is so happy with the person he chose.....what the heck?????? This After the Rose ceremony is going to be interesting tomorrow but definitely doesn't seem like these girls are going to get the answers they so deserve right now.

The show really got me mad. How the heck can he go from caring so much for both of them to not wanting to be with either of them at all. This just makes no sense.
The only thing I can think is that it was all scripted so that the ending was "different" from past shows .... almost as if he had no choice but not to choose either.
All I know is that I won't be watching next season.

I think he was going to pop it to Deanna but ended up freaking out and not doing it.
Maybe they told him (the producers) that he couldn't give them a promise ring like others have before...maybe they only want them to get engaged?
I think there may have been some editing there as well... Overall it seemed pretty lousy.

As mad as I am...I guess he didn't feel the connection he thought he should with either. I have a feeling he was conflicted because he had feelings for both and when he finds the "one" he will know there won't be two.
Im not happy about it, but I have had to break up with a guy or two who I thought were great, amazing guys....but I just couldn't see myself down the road with them or something, something just wasn't exactly right.
However this is reality TV...I watch this for that tingly happy feeling you get when two people are going to fall in love for a moment and then we get to wait for the break up news.

Just before the ceremony he was saying how he can see Deanna and Jenni as his wife, ***??? I am totally p'd off! He didn't have to propose, they could've just casually dated afterwards....if he had such "Strong feelings" for Deanna he wouldn't have said goodbye, maybe just a "lets date for a while and see what happens"
I feel sooooooooooo bad for Deanna, Jenni at least got some explanation, she got nothing, just a "I have to walk you to the car right now"
I agree, I think Brad's true colors came out on this episode, he's a d*ck - not the perfect man like everyone thought.
I bet his night clubs will get some bad publicity from this!!!
