Stone Soup

Does anyone have any good lessons when reading "Stone Soup?"

i'm a speech therapist, but i work with one of the resourse room teachers closely... and she actually made stone soup when she read it with her class! ( of course there were only about 5 or 6 kids in her class....) she brought in a hot pot thing- not a crockpot, but a hot pot. she used canned chicken and frozen veggies- she had a whole recipe. she would have the kids read her the recipe and add the ingredients as a following directions type thing. then while the soup was simmering, they read "stone soup". at the end, the soup was done and they got to eat it it was really cute!!
