Going back to work in 3 weeks....does anyone else work full time?
I want to stay home but we just can't afford it and not to mention that DH doesn't have healthcare at his job!
I didn't think I would like staying home, but now I cannot imagine leaving them! This blows!

I work full time, it really does blow. i wish i could be with them , but we cant afford it either.
You will appreciate your time with them more

I work full time and have to work overtime just to make ends meet - it really does suk - but I really do appreciate and enjoy the time I get to spend with them.

Yeah, I can't believe that I am at the 6 week mark! I felt like such crap for the first 4 weeks that now that I am feeling better, I don't want to leave them. My DH thinks we can live a few more weeks without me working, but that will put us into some debt and I don't want to go that route again! The good thing is at least I will go back for 3 weeks and then be off for a week during the holidays! I trying to stay positive but it is really hard!
The babies are doing well! Getting big! They are 6 weeks today! I will post pics later tonight!

I work full time. I miss them... a lot. I loved staying home.
It's hard, but I get to spend time with them in the morning & I race home to be with them. I have to start taking advantage of my personal
days.

I work full time, I was able to stay home for 3 months, and I was in the minority, but I was excited to go back to work. I never wanted to stay home and knew I couldn't. For the first 3 months I worked 4 days a week since we had no child care on Thursdays, so it was nice to have that one day home, but I was way busier at home then at work.
I really feel that now I spend quality time with them, becuase on the days I was home I was always cleaning, or do laundry, not spending great time with them. Now from the second I get home ot the second they go to bed, we are doing stuff together, besides making dinner, but when they were little I would eat after they went to bed.
Good Luck, it is hard at first but once you get into a routine it is great. Also at home you don't get a lunch hour where you can do whatever you want to do, by your self!!! I LOVE MY LUNCH HOUR!!!!!!

I work full time as well. It absolutely sucks in the beginning, but it does get better with time. Still I have my days where it is tough. I rush home most nights to get an hour or more in with them and I really love my weekends with them. I do agree with Michelle though your lunch hour is great...I run out and get stuff done for me or the house or whatever needs to get done. Hang in there

I work full time. I wish, I too, could stay home but with a new home, back to work I went (in sept.) It was hard at first, but my days fly by and I treasure the time I spend with them now, not that I didn't before. I am a teacher, so fortunately I have a lot of days and vacations and I am home at 2:45. Now that they are 13 months, I enjoy my little time away. But I still would love to me home, perhaps one day!

I agree i just went back to work last monday .. my twin boys are 12 weeks.. it was not fun at all.... but its true from the min i get home i just play with them.. I want to get a cleaning lady for more quality time.. the first week was the hardest.. good luck!
