I made banana bread muffins (moist and much less sweet than regular cupcakes). I put on chocolate frosting when they cooled. Then I put candy corn upside down as the feathers. I got mini milano cookies for the wings and head. I used the icing you write with to attach m&m's as eyes, then used the same icing in different colors for the beak, the red thing (which escapes me right now) and eye balls!
