Re: how to not gain in texas?
I have a friend that lives in tx - the food there is so much greasier (for the most part) EVERYTHING is cooked in butter.
Are you staying with a friend where you can do some food shopping to make your own meals?
Also - maybe do some exercising while you are there.
good luck!

Re: how to not gain in texas?
Hi, i'm going to visit a friend for the 5 days. since we're staying at his house, i guess we could do some grocery shopping.
he knows i'm watching what i eat, so he'll be sensitive to my eating needs.
we're going to take a yoga class and probably do lots of walking and sightseeing.
ugh- butter and grease! oy!
thanks denise!

Re: how to not gain in texas?
My parents live in Texas and it isn't all greasy food places.
There are a lot of good restaurants of all types. There are also some healthy mexican foods you can order. Many places will substitute things too.
Have fun!
