Question about AF

Well, we might start TTC this month or next! I'm so excited to get this started!

I have a question about AF- I always have it for five days and then on CDs 6 and 7 I have a little left over light brown spotting- yesterday was CD8 and now that I'm "paying attention" I saw the tiniest amount of brown.

I'm a little worried because in TCOYF she said that if you have any brown spotting 2 days or more past day 6 it could be a problem with how you shed your lining the previous month. I've always had this so I never thought it was weird.

So far, my temps are higher then what the book shows- I go up to 97.9 before O, then up to 98.6 after O- but there is a shift.

Does anyone get AF like this?

I always had light brown spotting at the end of AF and am pregnant. I don't remember that chapter, but they must be talking about another situation, maybe when you only are spotting? The first month we were TTC AF became very whacky and I was having brown spotting almost every few days that month. I really think when we start to concentrate and pay more attention when we are TTC we throw things off for a bit in the beginning. I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck and baby dust!

I don't think it's much to worry about. Brown blood is old blood, it's just blood that may have been there a bit longer. Btw, my temps are the same as yours....PreO and post O :) Sometimes I even go up to 98.8 post O

Thanks so much for your feedback- I feel a little better now. It's just that I'm overthinking every little thing about temps and CM- and we didn't even start TTC!

I've never really paid that much attention but I think I have that too! And it happens often after AF! What does it mean? does there mean there is something wrong?
