Are you getting your students anything for the holidays?
I am trying to decide what to buy for my students this year. If you have ideas, please post them! Thanks so much!

I bought slinkys from the dollar bins at target. I am also going to give them those free books that you get from scholastic. I used to go crazy and have realized it is not necessary.

I used my scholastic points and got them each a coupon for a book of their choice..some kids never get the excitement of waiting for the box to come with books in it for them, so I figured it would be good..I used to pick a book for them, but this way, it's fun for them...

I don't really do much... I do give them a pizza party that they've earned before the break. Sometimes i get cheap books or something from the dollar store. I only have 6 kids (self-contained sp. ed.) Gifts aren't necessary in my opinion.

I order from oriental trading. I get them a goody bag filled with a Christmas cup, penguin pencil, and snowman notepad

That's exactly what I did, too. I got them each a Sudoku book from Scholastic, then picked up some cute holiday pencils from Walgreens--6 for $1.00 this week!
