i have been debating about this post(tax star program)

i lost my star program for the house because the house is now listed in the "estate of"as to my name due to problems with getting it to my name as listed as the owner and they went up 1,500... i am s h ** ing bricks here i had the money for what i though it was going to be and when i saw the bill i freeked and still am.... is there anything i can do, if so please help out with some answers... i need another 1,900.. as i used some of the money (thinking my tax bill would be the same) for christmas. TIA

Janet....all I can think of is to call your local county representative.

I THINK that Tim Bishop is yours........ ......because you live in the town of Brookhaven right?

DH works for a Congressman and they get calls about things similar to this all the time. Most of these offices have Case Workers who would know what direction to point you in! Good luck!

I just wrote a email to the office. HOPFULLY they will be able to get back to me. I will not be able to go to the office till Monday so I am hoping sending that email would at least give a heads up. Thanks again
