Does anyone else feel this way?
I know we are supposed to think positive and I don't mean to bring anyone down. BUT do you ever feel that no matter what you do you will never get pregnant?
I know if this continues much longer DH and I will begin testing but still.....there is this girl at work who I just found out is 4 months pregnant. She is not married so I am not sure if she was trying but I just don't understand how some people can just try and they get pregnant. Why is it harder for some?
Again I don't mean to bring anyone down. I am just wondering if I am the only one who feels like this.
I am trying my hardest to be positive!!!

No I do not feel this way and we are going through a proverbial wringer of sorts. If I start thinking this way, it will be extremely counterproductive for me.

Re: Does anyone else feel this way?
YEs. It's very frustrating. But, I try not to think about what happens to other people. Some people have an easier time get PG than otehrs and that's just the way it is. I can't change that.
But, I am confident that 2008 will be teh year we get a BFP and have a baby. I try to just think positive and relax. Some days it's easier than others.
Hang in there!

Re: Does anyone else feel this way?
i am only on my fourth cycle trying so i haven't given up hope yet, and i am still positive, especially since i know i am doing everything i can, and my cycle still needs to get back on track after being on birth control for 9 years.
that's just now, i may feel differently if AF shows her ugly face again!

Re: Does anyone else feel this way?
We're only in our third cycle of trying (this is the second cycle I am actually using OPK's). I just went of BC in August after being on them for 12 years. It's going to take some time for my body to adjust. I'm glad I went off when I did.
I don't feel like it will never happen, I guess a little surprised it didn't happen right away.
I spent half of my life thinking I would get pregnant if I sat on a dirty toilet Little did I know it's not that simple

Re: Does anyone else feel this way?
No, even after trying for over a year I have never felt that I will never have a child. There are so many options out there in the medical field that I know we will achieve pregnancy that way. Is it the way we want to do it? Nope, but it's the cards we've been dealt. Also, should this not work for us we would then consider adopting so one way or another we will have our family. It's impossible to stay positive all the time, but you can't forget what you are doing all this for and keep your eyes on that goal.

I could have written this myself. We WILL have a child, no matter what. I have gotten used to my situation and every cycle I only look at that cycle. When I get BFN, then I think about the next cycle. Sometimes I do get down but I have to keep going forward. To become dismal about it would not be productive for me.

I agree and just want to add if you lose your hope than you have nothing left. The only thing I would say is it may be instinct talking to you and if you feel that way make an appointment with an RE. At least you can get some basic testing

Re: Does anyone else feel this way?
It has certainly been difficult but I know that no matter what we will have a child. I need to stay positive and of course after 10 months it's hard when I get AF every month but I know in my heart that I will have a baby!
ETA: After 6 months of trying we did speak to the doctor so we know what our issue is and have taken the measures to fix it. I think that was the best thing we did for ourselves mentally. If you think there is something wrong see a doctor!
