How long is left over Chinese good for?
DH and I had Chinese on Friday night, and I was planning on having the left overs for dinner tomorrow night?
Will it be ok to eat?

Yes, should be. I usually go with the 1 week rule. As long as it's packed properly and refrigerated right away.

4 days is too long for me to eat takeout, since I don't know how fresh the food was to begin with...

My limit is 3 days in a refrigerator. I have a degree in nutrition and had to sit through too many lectures on food safety to eat anything older.
In reality it will proabaly be fine for 4 days, especially with all the salt in chinese food.

I agree with the 3 day rule. we usually pitch stuff on day 4.

Take out I try to eat the next day...maybe I'll leave it for 2 days but that's it.
