I am curious what your dr. would do?

I called my dr. today because (as I posted previously) I was concerned that I lost all of my symptoms and I basically feel nothing (I am NOT complaining - just concerned).

I have an appt. for a sonogram on monday - I will be 12 weeks then.

I am curious what your dr. would tell you in this situation?

Would they say to come in and double check all is ok - or wait until monday?? or something else?

eta: I guess I would also be curious what answer you would feel comfortable with?

They would definitely with out a doubt tell me to come in Monday. As long as I wasn't having pain or bleeding then there would be no reason for me to come in.
At least that's my dr.'s office.

My doctor would tell me that I could come in if it would make me feel better, but not to worry.

I am not sure. I have been in the situation where I was cramping and/or bleeding and I went in the same day.

I had no symptoms from week 10 - 13 and felt very nervous. I've had a MC before so at 11 weeks, 2 days I went in for an U/S because I requested it. I still have no "symptoms" but am starting to grow. What I was told, is that all is good - enjoy your healthy, no symptom pregnancy!!

If I didn't have any cramping my doctor would definitely say to come in on Monday. Although the piece of mind is nice for you the doctors just can't see everyone who gets nervous. Try not to think too much about it. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Same here. Without any pain or bleeding they would tell me to wait. i don't think I would be comfortable with that but I understand that answer.

There is really nothing they could do at that point and 12 weeks is the point when some people start to feel better. You are close to the second trimester where you don't feel pregnant and are just waiting to grow a baby bump. If you feel like you need to see them sooner you can ask if there is an opening for an earlier appt. I am sure if you were bleeding or cramping they would take you right away. I don't think they are being insensitive or not providing proper care.

My doctor would have me come in at my regular appointment. Feeling nothing at the stage you're at isn't necessarily a cause for concern. As long as there's no pain or bleeding I can't imagine my doctor would make me come in earlier.

Same here. I'm sure everything is fine. Consider yourself lucky! Some people have certain symptoms and others have none-both totally normal.

I'm sure that they would tell me to come in on Monday! Even if the Dr wanted to see me...the insurance companies give them a hard time with extra appointments!
