miscarried this weekend
I am having such a hard time with this. It started Thursday night we found out yesterday our baby had no heartbeat. What was worse is seeing your baby in your belly on the sonogram screen and seeing no heartbeat. This morning I went through horrible pain .. The Dr said I was passing the baby and that I was basically have contractions.. HORRIBLE. He called me in pain meds and now I am not feeling them as much.. But my heart hurts so bad.
I am sure in time we will heal from this...it Just plain sucks so bad. How soon after can you try to have a baby and is it recommended or should you wait longer to heal.
thx

Re: miscarried this weekend
oh sweetie I am so sorry for your loss I know that this is hard for you right now and I wish that I could tell you that it gets better but I have not found that out just yet...I too have suffered a huge loss. I think that before you should try again you need to heal a little and it also depends on how far along you were I was 17 weeks when I lost my second baby and the Dr told me to wait 4-6 months minimum because your levels need to come back to normal and your body needs to heal first. If you were in your first trimester I think that starting again shouldn't take too long ask your Dr when it would be OK to go again...plus to make things better you are most fertile after a M/C or atleast that is what I am told good luck...

Re: miscarried this weekend
I am so sorry for your loss. I also had a miscarriage and I too can tell you it takes quite sometime to handle it. How far along were you? Your doctor may recommend a few months before trying again depending on how far along you were

Re: miscarried this weekend
i'm so sorry. i've never TTC so i can't offer any personal advice here, but i do have a good friend who miscarried recently and started trying pretty soon right after. She got preggo two months later (baby due in May) and the baby is doing well.
Hope everything works out for you.

Re: miscarried this weekend
Hi I just miscarried also :( My husband and I went to the dr Monday for a routine chk up at 12 weeks and the sono showed the baby had no heartbeat. When the Dr said that my whole body went numb. I was what I thought 12 weeks along...he said the baby had died 1-2 weeks ago... It never passed itself. I had to get a D & C...They wanted me to wait until Friday...there was no way, so they had to fit me in on Wed...This has been the most challenging thing emotionally I have ever been through. Completely crushed...so I know how you feel and its terrible. Noone can say anything that will help, unless its the Dr telling me Im pregnant again...As soon as we are allowed to try, we are going to and we will have a healthy baby one day. You will too. Take care...

Re: miscarried this weekend
I am very sorry for your loss. I also had one earlier this month.
I experienced it the same you did, at the Doctor's office. All I had was minor spotting and decided to get a check up, I was 2 months and 2 days. I decided to get 2nd opinion right after seeing my ob/gyn, b/c I was in such denial. Still numb and in shock but I am keeping positive and hopeful for the next time around. We will be trying again soon. I was recommended to wait at least 1 or 2 cycles.
