Montauk- now??
Do you recommend going to Montauk in January or February???
Are restaurants open, hotels???
We are looking for a quick getaway in the next couple of months and we have been to CT, and Rhode Island and Boston enough that we want to try something different..

We went for Valentine's one year...It kind of sucked honestly. Many of the restaurants and stores closed for the winter...We wound up eating out and then going to the IGA for ice cream because nothing else was open...We walked the beaches but it was frigid and we got incredibly windburned. We wound up vegging in the hotel much of the time. Hotels are open--we stayed at the Montauk Manor which had a great restaurant on site.
