Non-Babyproofed Houses
So did anyone have the pleasure of taking their twins to tons of houses that were not babyproofed this holiday season? DH and I are exhausted from chasing after DDs!
I think from now on before we go anywhere my first question is going to be whether or not the house is babyproofed!!!!

Same here. But I only hosted one! My cousin wanted us over but she always invites 145,869,567,892 people, her townhouse is tiny, and we don't have a vehicle to cart all of us and their "equipment" required for a full day.
4???? Pinky, 4????
If there was a cleaning, shopping and decorating icon I would have used them as well

Re: Non-Babyproofed Houses
This year we knew that would happen, so we hosted christmas eve and we went to my cousin's house which is babyproofed because she watching them while DH and I are at work.
I try to tell people in advance to remove things from the floor.

Re: Non-Babyproofed Houses
Yup---we went to non baby proof houses...great fun having someone block the stairs with a couch and then not being able to move from it, heaven forbid someone moved it..along with the other 9,000 things they wanted to do. Max also hates crowds in the beginning. We hosted xmas eve and then went to my moms Xmas day, with the small van, the two other children===walkers---booster seats---you name it. It was like the clown car

Re: Non-Babyproofed Houses
yes, my grandmothers house was the worst. she had this coffee table with a million glass frames/snowglobes/candy dishes. The girls kept picking up things & there was no way to clear the table.
It definitely was an experience..
Happy New Year Everyone!
