My baby is going in the hospital
OKay so i posted a while back that my pit had a growth on his ear. Our vet said it was probably nothing so we can either wait a few days and see if it gets bigger and biopsy or we can remove right then and there. We told her about playing with our friends pit and she said it could be from when the other dog bit his ear playing or it could be something else. We waited a few days to see if it got bigger and it got slightly bigger. So i made the appt to have it removed and biopsied. Since my vet does not do surgeries on The weekend unless it's an emergency we have to drop him off on tuesday night since we both work during the day so she can operate in the morning. I am a nervous wreck. I am so afriad of my dog going under the knife and the fact that he has to stay at the vet overnight the night before. I thought i was bad when they got fixed but i am an emotional wreck right now. I just want this to be over with. Please pray for my Porter to be safe and that the growth is nothing. TIA!
Update: I dropped him off last night. I just think about him sleeping in that kennel all alone. I feel so bad for him. I know my vet will take good care of him but i can't wait to pick him up today.

Well Porter is home and doing well. Except for the big cone on his head and his bandaged ear, i know he must be uncomfortable, he was soooooo excited to see me when i picke dhim up yesterday. He goes back on saturday to see how it's healing and if we can remove the bandages.

We are not doing a biopsy at this time. Normally these things are benign(or however you spell that), we are going to gt his badnages off on saturday and we will keep a close watch out. If it starts to grow back then we will do a biopsy. I just can't wait to get this cone off his head. He keeps doing the suction cup thing
