Interview Tips...TIA :)
Okay so my interview is fastly approaching next week (a NYC school) and I would appreciate a few helpful hints that helped to land a job at a school you really wanted to work in, or even give me some tips of what not to do.
I went on a ton of interviews last summer only to land the job i currently have 1 day b4 the kids went back to school. (and well i dont like my school much)
things that i so far decided to change in my interviewing style (figuring this is part of the reason i didnt get job offers):
I bought a nice suit set...i was poor this summer and couldnt afford one.
Change my attitude while interviewing, i tended to be a little quiet (possibly scared) so now im going to let my personality shine like i really want this job.
Show confidence in myself and my skills. (think, i am a great teacher over and over in my head lol)
I been through many interviews i think about 10 or so and ive been asked like every question so im pretty prepared for how to answer them, i think i just need a little faith in myself.
So please any hints you have or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Re: Interview Tips...TIA :)
it really sounds like you have a good handle on it--and LET your real self shine through--don't be shy, know that you are a good teacher--remember when the kids said how much they missed you!!! Think about how you have affected them, and know that you would be an asset to their school--you are interviewing THEM as much as they are interviewing YOU!!!
Best of luck!!!
