Back from the RE..
Well, she said my follicules are 18cm and that I shoud ovulate very soon. I am having the IUI on Monday unless I get a surge tomorrow. I am soooo scared and nervous ( I don't know why). If I still do not get a surge by Monday she will give me a shot to bring on ovulation. My head is pounding right now because I've been so stressed over this whole process. I never thought I would have to go back to the office every couple of days. I'm stressing over the amount of times I've had to leave work early. Even though my office manager said it was ok I still feel bad and dread telling her I have to go back again. I guess the end result is all that matters----a BIG FAT POSITIVE. I can't wait for that day to come.

Re: Back from the RE..
Is this your first IUI?? You will be fine. Th eprcedure is like having a pap smear. It is very stressful going back almost every day, but it will be worth it. Here's to a a Turkey baby

Re: Back from the RE..
Did she tell you how many mature follies you had ? Was it one at 18mm ? You will probably be getting a surge,....later tonight or tomorrow AM. Most of the time, you ovulate, when the follie is about 22mm. They grow approximately 2mm a day at this point. I would say, Sunday is probably going to be O day :)
Don't worry about the IUI, I actually think it's a lot easier than bding lol You don't have to worry about getting knocked around :) lol j/k The procedure is literally over in 3 minutes. Once again it's exactly like a pap smear and...I have never felt a thing from it, or even afterwards.

Re: Back from the RE..
Thanks Michelle, that's very comforting to know you have never felt anything. She said I had 2 follies, both at 18cm. At least that is what I think she said. My brain goes blank when i'm there.

Good Luck, Colleen! We're on a very similar schedule. I'm going to get the HCG shot to bring on ovulation on Tuesday! GL!
