I posted in the other forum but my 2-cents is to look into becoming a social worker.

It's still really hard to get a job as a school social worker from what I hear on Long Island anyways, but there is SO MUCH you can do with that kind of degree and experience.

Even just starting out with just a BSW.

My BA actually was in sociology and psych and I was able to do a lot of case management type jobs before I applied to an MSW program.

There are so many populations you can work with, P/T, F/T and often you can find somewhere that is willing to work with creating a flexible schedule if needed.
