Snowtubing at Camelback?
My sister desperately wants to take my boys tubing. I, personally, would never get in one of those things for fear that I won't be able to get out.
Anyhooo, if you've been to Camelback, how is it? Are there really 2 and 4 year olds that tube? Is there another place (besides Hunter) nearby that's good?
(I'm secretly hoping for negative feedback so I can tell her to take them to a movie instead. )
TIA!

I dont know about Camelback but you might want to see if she will take them to Jack Frost/Big Boulder...its a litte further west but a smaller mountain. That might be better for little kids
I think you should go tubing!! It will be fun!!

Re: Snowtubing at Camelback?
we loved it. It gets crowded though. There is another mountain in pa that is about a half hour from there that is basically empty. montage mountain. i don't know if they do snowtubing, but they were a good place to go.

You mean fun-ny. OMG, I just keep hearing "Woman stuck in snowtube at Camelback. Film at 11".
Thanks for the ideas... I'll send them on to her.

I figured it would be crowded, but I don't want my little guys getting lost in the crowd. I'll check out Montage, too.
Thanks!!

Re: Snowtubing at Camelback?
We went to Cambelback one year and I wasn't impressed. It seemed like most of the snow was gone at the bottom of the hills and you landed in dirt and hay.
Fernwood Resort has AWESOME snow tubing! I won a trip there a couple of years ago and my sister and I went and had a BLAST!! They have many trails and it wasn't crowded at all. They have night tubing also. You don't need to be a guest of the resort to use the snowtubing park.
