I am debating about getting this
right now I have a nice mirror with a mantle and 4 hooks I got at ned bath & beyond. I was thinking of getting this so my boys can keep their bookbags in one place Image Attachment(s):

My MIL has something like that and it just became a dust collector and a place to store mail and other junk. The boys would bring their school bags, etc to their rooms..
What she did instead what get all the kids those plastic lockers of their favorite teams, they are in HS now and still use them to keep their sports stuff in them.
It is a nice piece of furniture though!

as it is their bookbags end up all over the house and they go crazy in the morning looking for it. I just figured if I put it in the hall less clutter inside the rooms

I thinkit is a good idea. DO you ever read organziedhome.com?
It is a great site.
I rad an articel about the "launch pad" concept.
Basically designate one place for important things ( backpack & jacket for them, keys & wallet for dh, etc) & get in the habit of putting things where they go, so you don't loose them & aren't runninglate lokign for them.
And with this tyope fo furniture, it will be somehwere you can check & see if they put their stuff back.

we were at my BIL's- BIL's house  and they actually had 2 of them next to each other and i wanted to know where they got them.. they have 4 kids, and i thought it was an Awesome idea!!! and i think its cute too 
where did you find it? (if you dont mind me asking... i forgot to ask him)

Maybe you can get one that closes so the cr@p doesn't show.
My MIL has one with a bench and hooks. Looks a little cluttered.
