Re: Borgata people...

We are big gamblers and go/stay at Borgata at least 3 times a month....we love the place...

My favorite restaurant is hands down Bobby Flay!!!!! the best steak (the filet mignon is to die for, DH always has the American Kobe Strip which he says is out of this world-for their price it better be) in AC and if not best steak ever, their lobsters are also great....I didn't like Old Homestead (the NYC location is much better)....

if you don't want steak Wolfgang Puck is my other favorite...when you go there sit in the front (the Tavern) of the place and not the back (main dining room)...the back is a fancier part and much more expensive...also the menu is much more limited than the casual part which has great burgers, pizza, pasta etc......

If you want Italian there is Specchio which is great (very fancy-expensive) and Ombra which is just ok..not crazy about it......

For a very quick meal, if you like Chinese, there is a Noodle Bar located right next to the Asian games (Pai-Gow & Baccarat) which is open until like 3am....they have a great menu and are very cheap....

Stay away from the Metropolitan which is next to the Gypsy Bar....found hairs in my food on 2 occasions.....never going back there...great Gelato at the bakery side....

Also heard good things about SeaBlue (seafood) but never tried it....

Enjoy!!

Re: Borgata people...

We loooove SeaBlue!

Make sure you try to Seablue Sangria (delicious white sangria!!) and try the tasting trio for the appetizers!

Specchio is good also. I didn't love the Chinese fusion place, and you mentioned to ate at Old Homestead which we also really like.

If you haven't been there in a while, they have the "cafeteria" downstairs which is great for quick lunches/snacks. It has Ben & Jerry's, good salads, sandwiches, etc.

Also, definitely indulge in the Borgata Buffet one morning! (make sure you wait for the fresh waffles, they're delish!)

Re: Borgata people...

We have eaten at alot of restaurants there because we love going to the borgata. For our anniversary we ate at Pulks restaurant and it was amazing. Very expensive though. They have a regular menu at the front of the restaurant and more expensive menu in their fine dining seciton. We love Ombra which is great. It is in a wine cellar so you are completely surrounded by wines. They have great food too.

when are you going we are going too the 11th through the 13th (sun-tues) and are eating at seablue. i can't wait.

Bobby Flay is awesome, but you need to like spice. His steaks are highly seasoned with pepper.
