Those of you with Hashimoto's...

What dose of Synthroid do you all take?

I was diagnosed 8 years ago, and I'm currently on Synthroid 150. However, I just had my TSH re-tested, and it came back at 8.6!!!!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

My Dr. wants to get me between 2 and 3, but will only take me up one dosage at a time. It's a little frustrating!

04bride, was your thyroid "out of whack" when you got PG those first two times? My RE is telling me that I should hold on TTC until it's back in range, because high TSH can potentially lead to miscarriage.

That's one of my worst fears right now.

When I was preggers I was on 137. Now that I'm not, I'm back to 125. When I was first diagnosed, my TSH was 150! My endocronologist also told me that I would miscarry if I didn't get my TSH down (meanwhile I was never ovulating). Thank god everything got under control. I was really worried at first!

I am currently on 150. This is the second increase since I have been pregnant this time and the last time I was pregnant my thyroid was consistent. I have to be honest I think they are going to have to up me again. I came back a 7 last time and I am still not feeling great.

I have had this since 03 and I have to say I have never felt right since!!

Have any of you ever felt back to normal again?
