In general I dont freeze any sauce that contains cream or milk..I think it would separate. But go ahead and give it a shot.

My sister asked me the other day why I don't freeze it. I am under the impression that it's not good to freeze anything with cream in it, like the PP. Maybe I'm wrong.

I don't see why you couldn't freeze it. Ice cream has milk and cream in it and you freeze that.

I always make a double batch and freeze half! Never had a problem. I defrost in fridge, mix it up and heat it up! Great second time around too!

I just froze my Vodka Sauce for the first time a few weeks ago because I made too much.
I just used it and it was perfect, dare I say better! It wasn't even fully thawed when I put it in the sauce pan to cook.
I wouldn't leave it in the freezer forever, but it did turn out fine. I will defintely make double batches from now on and freeze half.

Def,,,, Ive done it ... You can freeze almost anything so long as its contained properly
