My mom had success on Jenny Craig. When I saw the portions of the food, I think I would of starved, it was smaller than the Lean Cusine type food.

My DH did Nutrisystem
He did lose about 25 pounds, and it took a bit to figure out which foods he liked
I thought the food looked 
something about cooking a burger in hot water just didn't jive with me 
ps- when he went off it he gained it right back

Tried NutriSystem twice - both times sent back food after about week, it's just AWFUL!!!! JMO.

Unless they changed the food on NutriSystem, I remember the food being awful. The only problem with these programs (IMO) is that when you stop eating the food, you gain the weight back. I just started up on Weight Watchers again after being off it for a very long time, and I'm loving the new program. I love that I'm not restricted to food and can really eat what I want (within limits of course!)

i tried nutrisystem also and sent back the food. i got a breaded chicken cutlet in a box  not refrigerated or anything! sorry, that just didn't sit right with me

DH and I did nutrisystem.. OMG the worst thing ever!!! The food was so gross that I DREADED my next meal. I literally starved on it becuase it tuned me off to food all together.
We both thought it was a total waste of $$. Yes it works because you would rather starve then eat that food.
I stick to my high protein, low carb regimen and I do just fine!

I agree, their food taste like crap and the thought of my chicken sitting in a drawer instead of a fridge skeeves me. What kind of chicken doesn't need to be refridgerated??

I am on WW right now and love it. My friend started Jenny Craig and she is avoiding being social for fear of food/alcohol temptations. We have a party tomorrow and she doesn't think she will be going. IMO, that is no way to live.
ETA: Disclaimer, WHen I say no way to live, I meanher bieng in fear of food temptations. I don't mean to offend anyone on Nutra System or Jenn Craig.

I'm doing Jenny Craig right now and I like it well enough. I really needed something that I didn't have to think because I knew I didn't have the willpower at the moment to do WW.
The portions are small but you actually do get a lot to eat because you have to eat nonfat/low fat dairy portions and fruit servings based on what your calorie level is. I hardly felt hungry at all, even in the first week.
The food for the most part is pretty tasty...I've heard Nutrisystem's food is disgusting but find Jenny's food alright, and I'm picky!
