ideas for sides???
my friend is having a house warming party on friday night. hes having baked ziti, sausage and peppers, chili, and some pulled pork... i asked him what i cuold bring and he said a side dish. any ideas for a side that would go well with the other stuff hes having? i would really like something that doesn't have to be heated up- it would be easier.

Re: ideas for sides???
How about a nice salad? I just buy the bag of salad and then mix in cut up cucumber, tomatoes, sliced olives, pepperoni, shredded cheese and bacon bits. Then I make my own red wine vinegar dressing to use with it.

I was going to suggest the same, possibly a cesare salad?

Re: ideas for sides???
tomato and mozzarella salad mini meatballs string beans with garlic and oil.
I know you said you would prefer something that doesn't need to be heated, but that pretty much limits you to salad
