when you got your bfp....did you
keep testing??? I have taken 7 tests so far ....lol....all postive but I feel the need to keep checking...lol.
Did any of you get bloodwork done to confirme pregnancy before going to obgyn?

I took 2 tests in one day and then DH made me take 2 more over 2 days.
My doc did bloodwork to confirm pregnancy.

Between my 1st BFP and my 12 week sono I took about a test or two a week
I didn't have any bloodwork done to confirm my pg.

I took 3 tests. My doctor said there was no reason to come in for bloodwork bc 3 tests is confirmation enough. So they just scheduled my first sonogram for a couple weeks after that

you don't want to know how many tests i took 
i was terrified of having a chemical pregnancy so i took a test every few days for a few weeks until i hit 6 weeks.
i even took one about 4 days ago because my symptoms started disappearing 
but now i am nauseous again and have no desire to POAS anymore (finally - i will be 8 weeks on wednesday!)

I took 2 one night and was in such denial that I had to go out the next morning and buy a different brand just to be sure.  No bloodwork though, that convinced me.

took the one test and got 2 more just to make sure before i told dh lol..i was sitll in denial that it happened so quick i was expecting to test for more then one month!

Okay..........I readily admit I am a POAS addict. I have taken at least 20 HPT's........4 of them at almost 6 wks. pregnant!!! I just could not believe my eyes and even after the doctor confirmed it with blood work I was still so shocked that I kept taking them. Now I just take them for fun because I just love seeing that thick, dark BFP pop up instantly. I have one test left in the closet then I am done........I think over 20 HPT's is good enough!!!

I took 2... the first was barely a BFP at 10DPO.... so I took another one the next day, and it was clearly positive.
haven't taken another one yet... although I've been tempted when symptoms seem to be disappearing

My first pregnancy I probably took over 25. My DH wanted to buy stock in EPT. With my second child, I think I only took about 6. With this child, so far I have taken 4. I just don't believe them!
