obgyn recommendations
Hi!!
I'm new to the boards. I'm 6 weeks pregnant with baby number 3. I've had my other children in the city (where I used to live) and I loved my doc. there, but I can't travel into Manhattan from Suffolk. Any good obgyn recommendations??? I heard Dr. Erhart (Port Jeff) is really good. Any info. will be great.

I use Dr. Trivedi (and love him!) He is located on Deer Park Ave. in North Babylon.

I have been going to suffolk ob/gyn they have offices in Port Jeff, Wading River, Patchogue, Smithtown they have alot of dr's in the practice and they are affiliated with St Charles... I was freaked out about so many differenct drs but it has been a good experience so far...

I also am pg with my 3rd (although it is still very early) and had to change doctors from mine in Nassau. I decided on Three Women's Health in E. Setauket after talking to several people in the area. I have an appt. with Dr. Schoenfeld in two weeks. I can let you know how it goes!

I go to Personal Women's Care in Smithtown and I love it there. The only thing is, they deliver at St. Catherines only.

Thanks so much girls!!! I think I would prefer a small group, only because I want to know who will deliver me. I don't want it to be whoever is on-call that specific day. I know, hard to find that these days. Anyway, your help is appreciated.
Montimom let me know how your appointment goes. I need to get cracking and make one soon (5 1/2 weeks) I have to go at 8 right??
My 3rd time around and I can't remember anything!!!

I just started going there... they are really nice, and very professional.... I recommend them!

I defnitely will. The group is small, I think there are 5 doctors but I think only 3 or 4 do deliveries. I will find out everything and let you know on the 11th. If I forget to post, just send me a FM!

I use Dr Ninia in port jeff sta. His office is awesome....he is a one doctor practice so he does all the deliveries. If for some reason he cannot deliver he uses Dr Ehrhart. I actually delivered last weekend and Dr Ninia was away for the weekend and Dr Ehrhart came in every day to check on me. He was very nice.

I second Personal Women's Care. They always take me right in even when I have the smallest concerns.
