Just found out pregnant and need help
I need help finding an obgyn. My doctor is in the city and I am looking for one on long island. As of now I have two, oakdale obgyn and comprehensive (sampino etc) Which one do you all recommend and who has night hours? Also, I am only one day late when should I make an appointment to go (three postive test day 12,13 and 14 dpo)?

i don't know anything about either of those practices but congrats! most OBGYNs won't see you until you are at least 6 weeks PG, it depends on their office policy - mine saw me at 5 1/2 weeks to confirm the pregnancy and again at 8 weeks for my first sono.

Congrats. Like the pp said most drs. have you come in around 6-8 weeks. When you call them they will tell you when to come in. I dont know about the drs. you referred to but I highly recommend my OBGYN. He is located in North Babylon and is affiliated with Good Sam.

Hello and congrats! I am in a similar position (5 weeks) and I'm looking for an OB who delivers out of Good Sam or Southside.
Any recommendations out there?

I go to Comprehensive OB/GYN and love all the doctors there. They are very flexible with appointments...I often need to go at night and never have a problem getting an appt at 7p. And the best part is...I never wait more than 5-10 min in the waiting room.
I delivered at Good Sam.

I go to Dr Sampino's group, they delivered my last child and I love them. I know they have evening apts not sure how late though. As for when to call I would call and tell them that you just found out your pregnant and I believe they will sched your apt for next month (I think your apt is after 2 missed periods)
