spotting and hcg levels.....worried
So I am 5/12 weeks and I started spotting yesterday.....very very very light brown...stopped...and just got a little today on my underwear. I paged the doctor yesterday who said it "could" be nothing but that basically at this point in time pregnancy is a waiting game. They called me in anyway to check my beta levels and progesterone....everything came back excellent...which made me happy but at the time when she called me I told her I was not spotting at all anymore and then of course I go to the bathroom and there is a little on my underwear (w/lots of cervical mucous). So since my levels were excellent (and I test again tomorrow) should I still be worried? Oh I guess I should add that I also had an internal sonogram done on Monday which I suppose could also be causing the bleeding. And we did see the sac and yolk So should I be worried?

try not to worry - at 5 1/2 wks it could be implantation spotting. A lot of women spot in their first trimester.

Re: spotting and hcg levels.....worried
that is most likely implantation spotting. I had that for this second pregnancy so far. I spotted brown and brown is not a bad thing so dont worry too much. My little jellybean is doing great and I know yours is too!

I always spotted after internals. That is what may have brought it on. If your bloodwork looks good, I would try to not worry about!!!!

I would not owrry. Most likely it is nothing, maybe just aggravated from the internal. As long as your numbers are okay and you are not "bleeding" you should be fine. Most of us here have spotted.

If you levels are increasing substantially you are heading in the right direction

Me too. I spotted a little bit the day after my internal sono. Try not to worry too much!

Re: spotting and hcg levels.....worried
Thanks so much ladies...I am feeling alot better about it today...and this morning I had my first real bout of morning sickness I didn't throw up but I was hugging the toilet as if I was about to and then the nausea passed. But that made me feel a little bit more confident. Also, so far so good w/ the spotting
Thanks Again!!
