So has anyone else had a UTI pretty much there whole pregnancy

I am 12 weeks and have given 3 urine samples in that 12 weeks and they all come up + for a uti. I have always gotten them usualy once a year for years so it is common for me but jeez!

My doctor said that when you are pregnant they can't put you on a strong antibiotic so I will basically have it my whole pregnancy and be on amoxicillan (sp?) just so it doesnt become a kidney infection. Once the baby is born I will get a stronger antibiotic that will get rid of it

I am 10 weeks and realized I had a UTI last week, I've been on antibiotics for 5 days and feel like it hasnt really kicked it. Im afraid I might be joining you in the neverending uti club.

I have... since day one I've fluxuated between UTI's and full blown Bladder Infections. Also been hospitalized 3 times to hydrate me. I hate it, but i'm also prone to it because of having them often before pregnancy. They just hurt so badly.

I had the worst UTI in my first trimester, once the antibiotic kicked in it was much better but I drank lots of cranberry juice throughout the rest of the pregnancy just to try to stave them off. I hope you get better!

I've had five so far...currently on antibiotics for one.
