Totally random ? about boobs...
I am not a parent yet....hopefully will be TTC within the next year or so.
My DH is a Breast man to say the least.... After you have a child and breastfeed....does you DH look at your breasts in a totally different way? Are they still attracted to them in a sexual way....or do they just see them as your child's source of nutrition? This is probably the dumbest question ever....but i'm very curious!

Bf;ing doesn't kill your boobs, being pregnant does
I bf'd my 1st, but not my 2nd and my DH's view of them didn't change 1 bit at all. He admired them even more for being able to feed his baby.

He really liked when they blew up like balloons towards the end of my pregnancy and the beginning of BFing.
Now they are sadly starting to deflate and even though they are (in my opinion) totally droopy, DH still loves them!

I've heard lots of men think pregnant and bfing boobs are sexy. You certainly will look like Pamela Anderson if you bf.
JMO, but the thing about pregnancy and boobs isn't the man not liking them, its that if you bf the boobs take on a new function. They leak, they're sore, and you've got a baby attached to them at least 3 hours a day!!!

Mine still likes them, but not nearly as much as when I was pregnant...they were HUGE and now they are deflated

I guess i assumed they would be freaked out by them....or turned of to the idea of doing anything with the boobs his child was once sucking on....I'm so weird!

Deflation definitely occurs. I BF for almost a year and I don't think my BBs will ever be the same.

DH was MORE inlove w/ my bbs since having DS! I did BF but only for 2 wks, but that even didnt deter DH!

I was actually the one who didn't want to BF because of what you are afraid of.
Dh is gonna love your pg boobs, I called mine my "porn star boobs"
They were great......
Now they are back to pretty much normal, but to me they feel smaller and less firm.....

I'm going to be honest - pregnancy and childbirth alone does soooo much damage to your body physically and hormonally, that its just something that you have to expect and get used to... then, exhaustion sets in and you rarely have the time or desire for sex anyway once the baby is born...
Luckily, you have this wonderful little person that makes it all ok, and little by little, the desire comes back, but everything evolves and shifts in so many ways in your relationship - that boobs aside, the most important thing is communication and love for each other!

we have issues with mine. I use to have a great set...now I am too embarassed to be braless at home. Even when he isn't around, I hate the way I look in a mirror.
I look like a guy with man boobs. They are huge now and just hang.
My boobs use to play a big role during sex first, DH could not handle it at all. second, I lacate so bad during it, I have to have a bra on with pads.
He tries to be like his old self and grab them every now and then, but I know its forced to make me feel better.
I try and take comfort in the fact that I am a selfless mom who listened to my body, my baby, my doctor and did the right thing by breastfeeding...but geez, between my scar, my stretch marks, and my sagging manboobs...I feel a mess. I think its getting worse as well now that I am losing weight on WW.
I feel like I am working hard, but for what real goal? So, I am concentrating on the fact that I want nice legs and nice arms...the rest, I don't know. I feel like every pair of jeans I try on are "mom jeans"
The other day, I told Leo that I never would have considered getting surgery done, but lately it seems like it would be light at the end of my tunnel. I am scared of going under and leaving my baby motherless, I am scared of the effects that an implant will have on my body...well, thanks for the vent!
I was a 34D...I am currently a 36G. He is 13 months old. Still nursing. He is super healthy, really smart, and is totally in love with me. I know I did the right thing.

DH loves watching me pump on the rare occasion that I do but I think its more that I think of them as the baby's food than DH's "toys" now. Its more in my mind than his.

ITA... my DH knows that they are his son's lifeline at the moment, but that does not stop him from flipping the switch and looking at them as "his" toys in a heartbeat...
I agree with you that it is more an issue with me. Mine are definitely deflated and I feel they are soooo saggy now. I have moments with DH that I refuse to take the bra off b/c they flop around too much (sorry tmi)!!!!!

Thanks for all of your responses....I'm probably going to start TTC over the summer....i've been reading up and preparing for this new stage in my life and i'm so excited, ready and FREAKING out about everything! I'm sure thats normal...but its good to know that i can come onto this site and ask questions! You girls are great and look forward to one day coming on to the parenting board and share stories with you all!
