Is it normal

....not to feel baby kick throughout the day? I'm 24 1/2 weeks along and only feel the baby sometimes at night before I go to bed. This is my second baby so I figured I would feel it more. But I hardly feel this baby and when I do, they are strong kicks. Also I am never thirsty with this pregnancy and was with my first.

Re: Is it normal

Thank you. For some reason I thought I should be feeling it all the time by now. You made me feel better.

Re: Is it normal

I read that its very normal for the baby to be more activce at night than during the day - the reason being is that your movements throughout the day lull the baby to sleep. Only at night when you stop moving does the baby wake up and start moving around.

I have never felt Alyson regularly....she has a "schedule".....in the morning, ALWAYS at night or in the middle of the night and various random periods during the day.

Re: Is it normal

I rarely feel the baby when I am up and about. I feel him the most regularly when I am laying down.

Re: Is it normal

I remember feeling my first child kicking all the time and this pregnancy is so different. I hardly ever feel anything except sometimes a few kicks before I fall asleep. I 'm wondering if I have a sleepyhead for a baby or if they're just not that active.

One of the nurses told me the baby likes the movement so when you are at complete rest is when they start to move around a bit more... If you drink oj sometimes it gets the baby moving, it always works for me...

I just read what MrsJ wrote that is what I heard also!

I might try your OJ trick. Thanks for the tip.
I wish the baby would move more already. I get worried.
