OB recommendation for Winthrop?
Hi everyone! I am new to the site and expecting my 2nd child in April. Not loving my current OB and hoping for a good recommendation affiliated with Winthrop from you savvy ladies. Any help would be appreciated. I do not care if male or female...I just want competent doctor or NP and a friendly staff would be a plus! Thanks!!

Complete Women OB/GYN on Stewart Avenue in Garden City. Its a practice with 4 doctors.
Drs. Michele Powers, Sal LoPresti, Robert Nadell and Matthew Dilena.

University Plaza Obstetrics and Gynecology...
lots of doctors, but all are very nice
Drs. Scavo, Miller, Cafaro, Putterman, Rosenburg..I think the others left...
in Garden City on Stewart Ave

I go to Dr. Dolisi in Garden City a lot of women here go to Dr. Hanauer (sp?) in the same practice. They are affliated with Winthrop.

I go to University Plaza Obstectrics & Gynecology, 877 Stewart Ave in Garden City. I am fairly new there, I've only been going there since my 3rd month of being pregnant. I had to switch because I found out my Dr. at the time no longer delivered. He recommended this practice.
So far so good I guess. They too are a practice of 5 Drs, which is all new to me. I used to see just one Dr.. The office is nice and the staff seems to be efficient. Being that this is my first, they have never delivered a baby for me, so it's hard to say I really recommend them. They are associated with Winthrop. Good luck!
Drs names are
Caffaro, Miller, Scavo, Putterman, and Rosenberg.

I know several people that go to Dr. Dosili, that is how I decided to go to him as well....he was very highly recommended. My one friend just had her baby delivered by Dr. Hanauer. It is a very good practice.

I also use them and switched to them when I was 12 weeks. I have been very happy with them and have seen Rosenberg 2 times and Caffaro 3 times. My DH is also very happy and impressed with the care they are giving me.

I go to Dr. Hanauer but Dr. Dolisi did my c-section. Actually several mommies have her but were delivered by him.
I like them both.

Rosenberg just delivered DD#2 1/10/08 and I loved him!!! DH thought he was so much better then my OB I used with DD#1.

I met with Dr. Hanauer yesterday and I am so pleased. She was really nice, down-to-earth, and honest with her answers to my questions. I switched immediately

I also use University Plaza ob/gyn...I had to switch doctors after being with the same practice for 12 years...I have to say I have nothing but great things to say about the drs. and nurses at Univ. So far I have seen Dr. Rosenberg and Dr. Scavo...both great!!!! Good luck to you!
