Re: Per Session Posting
Just curious--- do you NYC teachers do this after school and on the weekend and are paid? Or do you do it during the school day and a sub is called in?
In my district, a few teachers from each grade level are called in 1-2 days. You only mark the test for the grade level you teach... so 5th grade teachers do the 5th grade tests, etc. It is done during the school day. A sub is hired for us and we are not paid.

Re: Per Session Posting
After school and weekends and yes we get paid. It is a great benefit for us. There would be far too many teachers out because of our volume of students and they would end up paying too many subs. I think it must be cheaper for them this way.

Yup, I also heard about 9 days during the week and one weekend...if you can survive 20 days, you can do this!
