is it baseball season yet

i cant wait any longer!!!

now that the islanders are going downhill... still hoping though for a turnaround...

i just want baseball to start.. i am really psyched this year... especially after last season.. i just want to put it behind us.. LETS GO METS!!

I don't know, with this being the last season for both NY teams to play in their respective stadiums before they're torn down, it's going to be one heck of an emotional roller coaster!!!!

one week til pitchers and catchers!!! Life will FINALLY return back to normal for me! I miss baseball and the warm weather and the ritual of going to Yankee Stadium every Saturday home game. I'm such a summer girl!

I agree though- it will certainly be a very emotional year. It's gonna be sooo hard for me...I had a real tough time accepting the fact they were buidling a new stadium. Especially when I think of all the history in that building. Yes they've renovated plenty of times over the years and it's not the same place it used to be....but it is where the legends played. And it's where Thurman's locker stands to this day!! If they give him a locker in the new stadium, it just won't be the same. I'm so into the history of it all.

But yet I know I'm gonna love the new stadium!! I've seen so many new ones over the last few years...you can't deny how cool they are!

The new stadium is going to be beautiful. I hear what you're saying, but have you seen it? It's really nice. It's time for a new stadium, Yankee stadium could be really broke down sometimes. Especially with the vendors. (chicken tenders= an hour wait at least.)

i am sooo looking foward to Citi Field.. Shea has a lot of memories..but its def time for a new ballpark... im not liking the fact that its smaller though.. it will be harder to get tickets..

but this season will be wonderful.. im sure the mets will do all sorts of events and promotions this year to celebrate shea!!
