WTH is going on with my body?

Finally tested positive on my OPK, on CD 20! My cycles average around 29 days. W*T*F is going on???? Chat Icon Chat Icon

The same thing happened to me this cycle. I didn't O until cd19 and I have no idea why - but at least I (we) ovulated!

Stress can make you ovulate late. Maybe thats why? All I can say is ggood luck, and no matter what, lets hope the eggie still catches the sperm for ya!! Chat Icon

It makes me feel better to know that others have had this happen and that stress could have delayed it. I think perhaps the reason I have had such a hard time TTC is that I've always ovulated late in my cycle and thought I was ovulating earlier. I stopped using OPKs after my third month, and just started up again, so this is probably the case. All the while, I thought the fertilitinet OPKs were faulty, when it was just my body that was faulty! Chat Icon Chat Icon Thanks for your well wishes. I truly appreciate it! Baby dust to everyone! I believe that women don't realize how much are bodies are different from each other. We're taught that cycles should last 28-32 days, and that we ovulate on day 14... and that is SO not the case for many of us.
