Today was my first attempt at making meatloaf in the crockpot. I've made other things in it to some success.

Is crockpot meatloaf supposed to look, well, icky when it's done?

The sides of the crockpot are very dark and greasy. The top of the meatloaf looks like as if I made hamburgers in a frying pan and let the grease drippings clump up and sit in the pan.

Is this normal? Hoping it tastes better than it looks! Chat Icon
