Jamaica or Puerto Rico
My husband and I really would like to go to an all inclusive adults only resort this april. I've been looking into Sandals in Jamiaca, anyone have any opinions on them or any good all inclusive in puerto rico!! Any advice/suggestions would be great.

Not sure about all inclusives in Puerto Rico, but I would go there. It's cleaner and less poverty stricken. Also, I felt much safer in Puerto Rico then in Jamaica. I really liked Puerto Rico. Jamaica, I have been twice, not so much.

I agree. I've been to both (but not an all inclusive in PR so I can recommend one) and I just love PR! You can at least walk around the streets there and be safe and the PR people were so nice! Plus there are casinos!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at Sandals Whitehouse last year and leaving for Sandals Royal Carribean (both in Jamaic) tomorrow morning! I love jamaica! It is warm and a lot of fun. Sandals is awesome as well! Good luck with your decision!

We stayed at the Wyndham El Conquistador for our HM in Puerto Rico - highly recommend it! It even has it's own island.

I LOVE Jamaica. We've been four times, staying at different Couples resorts (Couples Negril, Couples Swept Away). I can't say enough good things about the Couples resorts.

Just got back from Sandals Ocho Rios. I loved it. I also visited Sandals Dunns River and I liked that even more. I would go back to Jamaica. I am also a big fan of Sandals Resorts. I have never been to PR but I heard its beautiful.

JAMAICA ALL THE WAY! So much more tropical and not so americanized. We stayed at a small resort in Negril called Coral Reefs and it was small but beautiful and clean.

We stayed at the Plantation Inn next door to Sandals Ocho Rios and visited Sandals for dinner...it was beautiful.
I've heard Sandals Dunns River is amazing and the Negril Sandals was just renovated. We're big Sandals fans if you couldn't guess. We've been to Bahamas, Antigua and Jamaica and have never been disappointed at their resorts.

Re: Jamaica or Puerto Rico
i was in pr for only a few hours (long story - don't ask) so i can't really speak about it but we did take a vacation to Jamaica and I wasn't crazy about it. that might've had something to do with the hotel though -- we went to Breezes Montego Bay.
