Conception Question . .
Did anyone Conceive no where near the 14th day? I know it is possible to ovulate all different times. Just curious. sometimes you think you are in the "safe" time and really you may not be ?
Thanks all!

Re: Conception Question . .
I know someone that it happened to... conceived around the 7th day. She thought she was "safe" also. She was going by that dumb old wives tale that 7 days before AF and 7 days after AF is safe. I don't think this is what the church had in mind when they advocated NFP (her preferred method of BC )!!

Re: Conception Question . .
I did. I had screwy cycles though. According to my due date when I was PG and my LMP, it would appear I conceived around CD35!!

Re: Conception Question . .
Most women don't realize how much are bodies are different from each other. We're taught that cycles should last 28-32 days, and that we ovulate on day 14... and that is SO not the case for many of us. Some cycles aren't so easy to distinguish, but by all means not 'unnormal' either. The only way to figure out how your body works is by keeping an eye on your cycle... through charting. No day is safe, even if you're body works like clockwork. I think only practicing correct charting methods can determine what "safe" days are.

Re: Conception Question . .
First pregnancy, I conceived around day 20. Second pregnancy, I conceived around day 7. A LOT of women don't ovulate during the 12-14 day period that is expected!
