this woman just made me feel really bad...

i've never had great luck w/headhunters but i figured what the heck and emailed one that i worked with a few years ago (though i ended up getting myself placed, she had nothing to do with it.) so anyway, she's asking me questions about where i've interviewed, etc. and i mentioned a question that one person asked at a place i didn't like. the question was 'how do you feel about working crazy hours.' so the recruiter asked me how i answered and told me that was a trick question. when she heard my answer, she was like 'oh i remember you. yeah, i want to make sure i prep you before every interview you go on. i remember you had some problems w/tough questions.'

what a POS..she didn't have to say that. Almost all of the recruiters I have dealt with though have prepped me.

She didn't have to go there.

Don't feel bad though. She has no tact.

You probably don't need as much prepping as she is making it out to be.

That was a hard question..i wouldn't know how to answer it.

Tell her while she's prepping you for interviews, you can give her a few tips on etiquette when talking to clients!!

I have heard horror stories about recruiters. I would stay away from them. From people I know who actively use them, the jobs they are trying to match people up with are for jobs that are not easy to fill because the places tend to be nightmarish to work for.
