i feel so bad for my neighbor
she just had a baby 3 weeks ago and has an 18 month old and her boyfriend/fiancee left her! he told her that it was too much. I feel so bad for her, she was a SAHM, never went to college, so now she doesnt know what shes going to do. He supported them as they have been together for like 5 years or so) of and shes 25 and he's 44! Personally i wonder if hes going through a midlife crisis. He keeps leaving her and coming back and its the same pattern over and over and she says she loves him and will keep taking him back. So i feel really bad for her, but truthfully if you know hes like that and keep taking him back, you know that most likely hes going to do it again and gain. Oh and when she got pregnant with the 2nd child, she didnt want it and he convinced her to not have an abortion (her DS was only 8 months at the time and she wasn't ready to have another-it was an accident). Now he tells her that he didnt even want to be with her when she got pregnant, he just wanted her to have the baby!
I feel most of all for her babies, the 18 month old sees her crying all the time b/c of "daddy" and now she will prob have to work fulltime to make ends meet to support them (even if he pays child support it wont be enough for rent , bills, etc). I hope this story makes everyone so grateful for what they have in their life's b/c there are so many people out their who have it much worse.
Any prayers you have for her and her children her would be appreciated

yes, and he agreed to pay her $1000 a month, but theirs no paper work for it, etc, just his "promise" so i warned her she needs a lawyer and that without that paperwork, he can just pick up and go or screw her with the $$ at some point,
i think shes convinced he'll come back

She doesn't even need a lawyer. They weren't married so she can just go through Child Support Enforcement. It's free. I would advise her to do it asap. They will prepare and file the petition on her behalf.
