HI, I have a question. I am almost 29 weeks. Lately, it is hard to breathe and bend is this normal? I still have 10 weeks to go. I also get full very easily. Thank you

Re: breathing and pregnancy
I am 33 weeks and I also have trouble breathing sometimes. I asked my Dr. and she said that its due to the baby pressed up against my lungs, nothing to be concerned about, but call your Dr. if you think you should.

Re: breathing and pregnancy
Sounds completely normal. The baby is probably putting pressure on your diaphragm/lungs making it difficult to breathe & catch your breath, esp. when laying down. Just let your Dr. know anyway, and hang in there!!!

Re: breathing and pregnancy
I get short of breath quickly, it seems that when I do walk the baby likes to stretch.. squishing my abdomin and my lungs! Good Luck!

Re: breathing and pregnancy
I'm 29 weeks tomorrow and I can't bend either. Luckily I haven't had the breathing problem yet but have heard that it's perfectly normal. My friend at work is also due right around the same time as us and she can't breath at all. Hang in there!

Re: breathing and pregnancy
I am 27 weeks and I don't have a hard time breathing at rest, but after a flight of stairs I do....I try to steady my breathing as I go up the stairs and go slow.
I also have lost my appetite. I am never hungry anymore. If I don't eat I feel it, so I still eat regularly, but allot less than I had. My weight gain has pretty much steadied now...
My doctor told me it was all normal, but to call if I ever felt dizzy or lightheaded...
