Please Help RE: Personal Trainer

I really need some suggestions! Last night DH surprised me with a trip to CA first week in May. That leaves me exactly 2 months to get back in shape! After the wedding and the holidays I am ashamed to say that I did gain some pounds back.... I promised myself I would get back to my normal routine but then my schedule got crazy and I just didn't get anywhere. Well now I have a reason! A swift kick in my butt! Now, I have made the decision to get a personal trainer so I can really learn how to get maximum benefit from workouts. I do belong to a gym.... and I had a session w/ one of their trainers, but she was SOOOOO pushy that I would hate to go back to her and sign up. I'd rather use someone else. Preferrably a female... someone in the Wantagh/Bellmore/Merrick/Massapequa/Seaford area... Can anyone help???? Anyone have a trainer outside of a gym that they can recommend????

Check out Dr. Marisa Silver from In the Zone Personal Fitness. She is in Plainview and is awesome! If I lived closer I would def use her. I love my trainer, Karen, from Koga Fitness but that is too far for you. She is a LIF vendor and also advertises on LIW. Here is a segment LIW.TV did on her. The woman who lost 60 pounds after having a baby looks amazing!

A woman in our office also use Dr. Silver and has nothing but great things to say about her. HTH!

Sorry, I don't live on LI so I can't help, but is there a reason why you need to have a woman? I have a man and I LOVE going to him. He is not pushy at all, but very, very encouraging but he doesn't take any c r a p either. I don't feel uncomfortable at all it really is such a great experience!
