I didn't & if I ever get a BFP again I still won't. Honestly, having the support of some of the ladies on this board through my m/c has helped me so much. I completely undesrtand why someone would want to hide it, but for me, I jut don't think it's something I would do. Hiding it from everyone IRL is enough, I feel like this is the one place I can really share my excitement.

I told everyone last time we were pregnant and I miscarried, and didn't feel like going though it again if I miscarried again.

I never had an alias and I always said I wouldn't. I stopped posting about my process and hoped people would stop asking me "how I was doing" or "if I had news to share." Each time I got PG, I was very scared and though well intended, the more people asked questions, the less I wanted to share. Some people can come out immediately, others cannot.

Some people may have figured me out. But there was no way I would have shared my news in a public forum without having shared with my DH or family first. They would have been terribly hurt. The rest of the world could wait.

No. I can't be bothered with all that. I'll probably announce the moment I'm PG, and if I m/c again, it's ok, because I'll probably need the emotional support again.

Yes-- but for personal privacy and to be able to post on pregnancy and ask questions, etc.

We won't tell anyone til we are safely 12 weeks along, except for our parents probably-- and one or two of my close friends.

No, because I don't intend on coming out until we are out of our first trimester. I had a chemical in August and the only people that knew were DH and myself. Given all we are going through at the present time to get pregnant, the only people that will know right away are our parents, as they know we are in the process of an IVF cycle. However, even with that, we were very vague with them as to when exactly we would know if the IVF worked.

Nope, I have no intentions of creating a fake name. When I am lucky enough to get my BFP, I'll post when I feel comfortable doing so.

Nope. Im so busy that I don't get to post as much as I would like under this name. I couldn't be bothered with a fake name. Also I think I would be so excited that I finally got my BFP that I would post right away.

We unfortunately cant start TTC until October due to personal reasons. But I think when we do start trying, I'm going to create a fake name because I have a lot of lurkers on these boards!

Probably. I know there might be a lurker or two and honestly I would want to wait a bit before revealling who I am for many of the above reasons.
