Does anyone get UTIs from all the bding????
This is something I have had problems with for years. I have a very hard time with antibiotics, everything but amoxil makes me throw up :( so i try to take care of them on my own drinking water and taking cranberry and vitamin c pills. I think I may need to go to the urologist soon though, I wish they could just give me a shot! It makes the idea of having to start the bding unappealing!

I have been getting UTI's since I was a kid. BD'ing does make it worse. It helps if you pee pee before and right after BD'ing. I also try not to wear tight fitting pants. Good luck. I know your pain.

Yes. The best thing they ever did for me was put me on heavy duty antibiotics for almost six months straight b/c I was getting them so frequently. Let me tell you, it helped for almost 4 years. I never got one in that time.

DH and I first started dating, very bad! But if you pee after BDing, it helps.

same here.
I lay in bed for maybe 10 minutes with my feet up, then go straight to the bathroom to pee.
I asked the girls on PG if you could get pregnant still by peeing right after BDing and I got an overwhelming YES!

Wow this is so good to hear, I thought I was the only one who had chronic UTI's. I feel a little better knowing I am not the only one. They are really bad. I am in the process of going to a urologist now and he has me going through all sorts of crazy tests. Hopefully somthing will come out of all these test that can help get rid of the UTI's. If anything does happen that clears up all the UTI's I will be sure to let you ladies know.

I get them alot also, I do pee pee alot regardless. I go before and after BD to prevent it. In the summer its worse because I work in a kitchen sweating with long sleeve jackets and sometimes I get them regular. So far so go. HTHs

This happened to me in college a lot.  LOL I had a steady boyfriend.. but there is a pill you can take right after you bd and it stops the bacteria that causes a UTI. It is called Macrobid and it is an antiboitic but you only take one pill each time you bd. You don't stay on it for an extended period. This was a life saver for me.

OMG me too........ and I seem to get them more often when we BD alot, guess I shower too much???????
But I've had both yeast infections and UTI's........ When I was pg with my son, I was honored enough to have them at the same time....

What is the difference between a yeast infection and a UTI. Everytime I'm on Antiobotics I get a YI-but I don't think I ever had a UTI????????????????????

Count your blessings you've never had a UTI.... those things are killer.
You can also jus "clean up" after. the always wipes are good or old fashioned baby wips (baby wipes give you more for your $)
Those are a life saver.
